The 858P is the plasma-friendly version of Russound’s popular wall-mounted IR receiver. It employs additional optical filtering to reject noise from plasma displays, making it an ideal choice for home theater applications. The optical design results from painstakingly testing all the major brands of plasma displays to ensure superior noise reduction. Additionally, the 858P is immune from most sources of IR interference such as compact fluorescent lighting. The 858P is compatible with most brands of remote controls and popular audio-video components. It connects directly to a Russound IRB-6 or 857 connecting block, or to an IRB-1 in-wall jack.
