Flexbox Fire Rated Back Boxes
The Flexbox loudspeaker back boxes improve the multiroom audio experience by reducing background noise, diffusing distortion, and providing a vapor barrier. Flexible construction provides easy installation in both new construction as well as retrofit installations.
Flexbox back boxes are flame retardant and meet ASTM E119 and UL 263/NFPA 251 (1 hour) and ASTM E84/NFPA 70 standards. In-wall enclosures fit within 3.5" deep stud bays, while in-ceiling enclosures are sized for 6" bays, and can be rolled up and inserted through a hole for retrofit installations.

Russound Flexbox back boxes work with both Acclaim 5 and 7 Series architectural loudspeakers.

Acclaim Architectural Loudspeakers
Russound is pleased to announce our new Acclaim line of Architectural speakers that provide superior sound in any setting. Available in both the value orientated 5 Series, or the high-performance 7 Series, Acclaim models are offered in a wide range of sizes, styles and performance levels to provide options for background music, dedicated listening and home theater environments.
Acclaim 5 Series
Redefining affordable performance, Russound's Acclaim 5 Series is engineered to deliver accurate sound with quality and value. Tuned for improved off-axis listening and equipped with pivoting tweeters, the 5 Series is at home in any home.

Engineered using state-of-the-art FEA modeling, the Acclaim 5 Series is manufactured with lighter, stiffer drivers featuring either a structural rib design, or enhanced materials. These details furnish speakers with improved efficiency, enhanced bass performance and greater musical detail through better transient response.

For quality and performance, Acclaim 5 Series speakers provide an excellent alternative to more expensive speakers without compromise to aesthetics or efficiency.

Acclaim 7 Series
Optimized for multiroom and home theater applications, the Acclaim 7 Series features high-end materials, asymmetrical crossovers, and advanced features to present improved off axis listening over conventional architectural speakers.

In-ceiling models feature Russound's Twist & Tilt technology, which allows the driver to be tilted 15° to focus output. In-wall and LCR models employ our Iso-Mount chassis design, which uses an isolation gasket to reduce vibration transmission for increased clarity. When performance and clarity are paramount, Russound's Acclaim 7 Series deliver enhanced power handling and greater efficiency for superb sound.

C-Series Multizone System
The new Russound C-Series Multizone System provides robust power, increased control, and new features to enhance your multiroom audio experience. With digital amplification, a new multiline display keypad, and an internal AM/FM tuner with RDS, KT1-C5 kit delivers control of eight sources and zones with advanced multiroom system features.
The heart of the C-Series Multizone System is the MCA-C5 Multizone Controller Amplifier. It provides eight zones of distributed stereo audio from any of eight sources. Digital amplifiers deliver dynamic sound, while an internal AM/FM tuner with Radio Data System saves space over an external tuner.

For control of the C-Series Multizone System, the new MDK-C5 Multiline Display Keypad is a wall-mounted, standard fit, double-gang keypad for the MCA-C5 Multizone Controller Amplifier. The keypad's gray scale LCD screen displays real-time information including playlist, channel, artist, song title, genre and more from Russound RNET Smart Source components, including the SMS3 Smart Media Server, iBridge Dock and Bay, and ST2 Tuners. Responsive hard buttons offer access to virtually every system feature and source control function.

The C-Series Multizone System advanced features include custom audio settings, Party Mode, Do Not Disturb, source and zone linking, and All On/Off. The kit also provides a system clock with zone alarms and sleep timers, paging and Home Theater trigger inputs, routed and common IR outputs, and eight 12VDC zone trigger outputs.

To expand the system, all zones are equipped with fixed or variable line-level outputs for outboard amplification or subzone use, as well as a front USB port for programming ease and a rear RS-232 port for integration with home automation systems.
