In 2003 Russound launched the award-winning CAV6.6 controller-amplifier and UNO-S2 keypad. Built upon the successful CA series, the CAV6.6 added features like video distribution, increased expandability, an RS-232 serial port, variable line audio outputs, and buffered source loop outputs. The UNO-S2 is a double-gang style keypad featuring a backlit LCD panel that delivers system status and source feedback.
The pair proved wildly successful, with advance orders exceeding the company’s expectations. The CAV6.6 also represented the first product in our line of RNET® components, paving the way for products like the UNO-TS2 color touchscreen and Smart source components such as the SMS3 Smart Media Servers, the ST2 Smart Tuners for AM/FM and satellite radio, the iBridge Dock, and the iBridge Bay.
After 40 years in business, Russound continues to grow.
