Russound’s in-house training gets
positive reviews
Since its doors opened in December 2005, Russound’s new in-house training facility has attracted groups of installers, dealers, and sales reps. And from the response, it’s a big hit.
The facility was designed to give installers comprehensive product training. Called “Wired Up,” Russound’s regular two-day in-house seminar prepares dealers and installers to provide quality solutions to their customers. It covers product applications, system design, installation techniques, and system programming.
“Participants have commented that our training facility is the best they’ve seen,” notes Education Specialist Matt DiPasquale. “It’s like a hidden jewel inside Russound. It’s something to be proud of.”

Radio interview with Jeff Kussard
At the recent Spring EH Expo, Mark Lautenschlager, Correspondent for the “Into Tomorrow” radio show, interviewed Jeff Kussard, Russound’s Director of Strategic Development. Sponsored by LeisureTech Electronics, the broadcast covered Russound’s current products, future developments and Russound’s philosophy behind creating new multiroom A/V systems.
Mr. Kussard stated that the company started by making products simpler for professionals to install, which led to products being more accessible to a wider audience. “From our perspective, we pay a lot of attention to the end-user – the consumer. We focus heavily on the user aspect, the quality of the user experience…in terms of how easy is it to use, how intuitive is it to use,” said Mr. Kussard. He went on to say that companies are focusing on the high technology side of things, which can drive consumers away. “That’s why [easy to use] products like A-BUS are going to remain relevant in our product category,” he added.
