CES Innovations Award The CES Innovations Award honors the most innovative products in a variety of audio-video categories. Entries are judged by value to the user, aesthetics, and contributions to the quality of life as well as the product’s innovative qualities. The Innovations Award is presented to the winners at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January of every year. |

EH TOPS Award The Inaugural CE Pro BEST Awards recognizes the most noteworthy new products and technologies for 2009 “CE Pro has been writing about the top technologies and products for residential integrators for nearly 15 years,” says Jason Knott, editor-in-chief. “Until now, we never recognized those cutting-edge systems with an award. This is a great way to focus on the new products being unveiled at CEDIA Expo.” With over 200 products entered into 36 categories this year, CEPro.com is pleased to highlight all the award entries, finalists and winners for the custom electronics industry. While there was only one winner per category, the quality of entrants was exceptional and the voting was tight in many instances. The winners of the Inaugural BEST Awards were chosen by a panel of industry experts, integrators and the editors of CE Pro and Electronic House, to join an exclusive group of products deemed the most noteworthy for 2009. CEDIA Electronic Lifestyles Award The CEDIA Electronic Lifestyles® Awards, which are considered the most prestigious in the industry, are presented annually in recognition of member companies that exemplify outstanding integration of systems and meet their clients’ home technology needs. Two panels consisting of members from the American Institute of Architects (AIA), American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), and CEDIA, evaluated the winning entries and scored them on technical merit and design/aesthetics. Judges considered the following during the decision making process: Innovative Technology, Value to the Technician, Value to the Business, Enhances the Client’s Lifestyle. |
